Type Locality and Naming

Along the Beltau Mountains, Central Kyzylkum. M.E. Egamberdyev, 1963 (512, p.14). Stratotype not specified. The term is not used due to the uncertainty of the span.

Lithology and Thickness

Celestine-bearing light yellow, red sandstones with clay interlayers. Thickness 0-45m.
